Sauternes and Barsac tasting notes

IMG_3962

Here are the raw tasting notes from tastings stretching back to the 1990s. I wish I had kept notes of some the fine bottles I’d had to taste when I was at university [where I had the opportunity to taste Sauternes and Barsac all the way back to the 1920s]. Most of these notes are from tastings with the Union des Grand Cru de Bordeaux tastings – either their primeurs events held in Bordeaux each spring or from their October tastings held in Covent Garden each year in London.
